Liberty Garden honors those who have served or who are currently serving in the armed forces, fire department, police department, or emergency response services. It also serves as a memorial for loved ones lost in the tragedy of September 11, 2001
The pavilion is located on the lake in Murphy Park and was completed in the fall of 2010. This generous gift from the Garden Club is dedicated in honor of Lou Bell Harris, a long-time member of the club.
Pierce Park opened in December 2017. The park partly funded a grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and Certificates of Obligation bonds. Chisum Pierce donated the land for the park to honor his late father, Lieutenant Commander Thomas Floyd Pierce.

Bull Branch park is located at Lynn and Davis Street and boasts more than 65 acres of beautiful park area that includes a fishing pier, recreational amenities, disc golf course and hike and bike trail. Entrance to the hike and bike trail is located on Lynn Street.
